"Peter and all, I had and rode in one of these lovely wool Peugeot/Shell jerseys back in the day...when my combined genetic heritage (England, Alsace, Germany) and LOVE OF BEER hadn't made me too prosperous to fit into it! "

There is no trend at all I can see in what frame sizes tend to fetch the most money. Inseams seem to come in all lengths. But might I suggest there is a direct and depressing corellation in vintage jerseys between size and price: bigger fetches more. It's one thing to finally get the lightweight one coveted as a 17-year-old, and quite another to fit in the jersey you could wear back then. That and the fact that European cyclists seemed to be such little lads... all those cool jerseys in size 3! No wonder Vintage Velos does such a roaring trade with their replica jerseys which are available in sizes you'd never find in any peloton (at least in a race you'd want to see...)

Peter Kohler, still a size 4 (if it kills me) Washington DC USA
