yeah

I erred on some brake bridge placements on a couple Hollands -- major goofs -- I added some checks after these expensive goofs. And when my work went into paint, the painters would occasionally alert me to things, and I became more attentive as a result. But, when received by the customer, if a HOLLAND or RIVENDELL had the same scratches as your NAGASAWA, me and the paint shop would have some re-work to do.

Like, when a retail shop tells a customer that his frame is misaligned, when, in fact, the wheels are out of dish. Here, I've had to prove the frame is straight, as well as prove the wheels are off. Or, (and this is a better example of "when I hadn't goofed), when somebody else in the frame-building process (in-house) had goofed, like when I built to specs but somebody forgot to update me when the customer changed his mind. (It aint like these things happened all the time, as they were relatively rare occurances, but you asked for examples of "return-worthy" when I hadn't dropped the ball.)
