While I agree that it is desirable to have reproducible measurements
(ideally by the same person/team), the problem there is time.
Measuring a bike accurately takes a while. Having measured 12 bikes
for the next VBQ article on front end geometry, I don't want to do it
again any time soon. Ideally, you have two people, and you can do a
bike in 20-30 minutes...

e-Chuck: (With my Engineer's hat on) I think the problem is that measurements made by many different people with varying measurement tools and skill levels, and likely using many different measurement protocols, may yield pretty dubious data in some areas of measurement (e.g. frame angles). Steven's idea, while creating more work for the measurer, would yield much more reliable and consistent data, IMHO.... Greg "reduce those variables" Parker Dexter, Michigan
