My MX came from Germany last year in a TV box. diagonal across the box this gives plenty of room for crush factor. The box will crush and break before the frame bends......hopefully...Mine came thru ok with no crush problems. Plus the frame was wrapped in foam and the fork was in a separate mountain bike fork box, Taped securely to the bottom of the TV box.
