Much nicer to note is that the rear hub was built with flange slots allowing

for spoke removal without taking off wheel or cluster.

Not bad for fifties technology.

Mr. Ernst,

You are 100% right, and I am sorry to take C-R discussion space for those "ebay high price" stuff and Japanese buyers.

But, we US collectors have to realize some part of market pricing structure so that we can enjoy our hobby, collecting-buying-trading and selling etc..

I personally ignor avoid "French" stuff as JUY 543, Simplex, and R-H's. They are so highly priced (by Japanese buyer/market), way out of their qualiy, engineering inovations, and workmanship range.

In short, they are over priced colector's items, and inferior junk, in my opinion.

However; whoever selling those things, they have great time, I think. If you have had such pair of hub (or had found a pair), would you sell them for 200.00 to me? If I were a normal business minded parson, I should buy them for 200.00 and sell for 1000.00?? I would rather not. The best thing I can do is " BAN" French stuff, I am sure this is a "BON" idea!
