Let me second what Brian is saying. I remember when I was working at a Seattle shop sending a Gios out to get painted about 12 years ago. We had made sure the painter knew the color and was a bike painter. We'd actually had this same painter paint a bunch of other stuff too with great results. When the painter brought the frame in to drop off it looked great. That was until we held the repaint up to another original Gios. Luckily the painter was still in the shop and offered to repaint it again. We sent him back out and supplied him the the other Gios too. The second time around it was spot on. If I'm remembering correctly the painter said the difference was mostly in the basecoat color. good luck, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives Coeur d'Alene, ID.
