Naaah . This one's no record! No way. A couple of years ago the list was flabbergasted that someone paid ~$240 for a pair of !USED! Paturaud toe straps. They were dark green or blue, with gold-fleck lettering, the same "font" as the pair that just sold on eBay. . They were clearly used, but looked to be still serviceable. The lettering was ~20% worn off, but still legible. There's just no understanding what a bike nut will pay for some things, even among the bike nuts on this list! This pair, in contrast, seems to be unused.
