I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a problem that I am having with low gear on my ASC hub. First of all, the ASC seems more needful of oiling than any of my other SA hubs. Secondly, while it shifts and works fine in most situations, I have trouble with low gear on very steep climbs. Unless I hold the trigger down while climbing the hub will slip in low gear. This happens only on steep climbs where I am pushing really hard on the pedals. I've adjusted the indicator spindle per the directions in the Sturmey Archer master catalog.
