Anybody out there know anything about the dating of Casatis? No, I don't mean THAT kind of dating but rather the chronicalling of an item. Oh, am I dating myself? Let me stop, this can go on for ever.
I have a Casati Perfection that is from circa 1980. The BB has a cut-out C and is stamped 171 on one side and 58 on the other. The size is indeed 58, but the sequencing of the 171 has been elusive. I even tried contacting Casati in Monza, but they told me "that was over 25 years ago". They just didn't understand. I'm hoping someone can help.
