Listees, Well Mike beat me to the punch! The Official BVVW jersey idea is OUT and WILL become a reality. I've discussed the idea with Alex Clark in Zug, Switzerland last week and we will be producing the BVVW (Brooklyn Velodrome Vintage Wheelmen) / G.S.Pergolizzi jersey in the next few months. The jersey will be gold with a wide white stripe across the chest flanked by a thin black stripe above and below the white with black at the collar and sleeve ends. The jersey will be available in both long and short sleeve and with AND without embroidery. So...... their are four possible combinations. The embroidered version will have "BVVW" on the top of the sleeves (like the "Brooklyn" Woolistic jersey) with "G.S.Pergolizzi" on the left breast area. The embroidery will be black. These will be manufactured by Woolistic and will be sized as their other jerseys. Please refer to http://www.vintagevelos.com for sizing information. The quality of the Woolistic products is unsurpassed and will be a fine addition to any jersey collection. As we get more details ironed out, I will make another announcement in the next cople oh weeks. Prices will be commensurate with the other jerseys in the Woolistic line, so figure around $145.00. each. This will INCLUDE shipping to continental U.S. From the point the order is placed, expect aprox. a three to four month wait. I figure it will take about two months to get all of the money in, so total wait time for the first of youse to pay up is about 6 months. Could be less, but it could take that long. I think that this is a beautiful, classy jersey and my marketing plan of four possible combinations should insure a quick sale of the 50 minimum necessary pieces to place the order quickly. As a further enticement, Chuck Schmidt and I are working on a BVVW patch. This can be applied on to the jersey below the "G.S.Pergolizzi" on the embroidered versions or wherever on the plain ones or wherever else you might like to stitch um. Availability and cost will be announced AFTER the jersey project is further down the track. I expect this to be a big project, so please DON'T send any money yet or ask questions because I'm just not ready yet. Sales will be first come, first served. BVVW members get first shot. After the minimum is reached, I will announce it and then wait another two weeks for any stragglers. Then that's it. I hope to have a display at The Cirque. So start saving your penny's, tell your Honey what you want for your birthday, give yourself a treat; do whatever it takes to get one of these beauties cause life is not a dress rehearsal.

ciao, John T.Pergolizzi Brooklyn, New York And yes, my jersey will say "Omnipotent Despot" on it.
