I am looking into installing a regina freewheel on my serena but not really sure of the period correct model I should look for. The bike is around 1966 ..I have seen reginas "grand sport typo corsa and" extra Oro" among possibly other models..anybody could tell me wich model is period correct? I would like to profit of the occasion to change from my actual maillard's 14/24 to maybe 13/28 if available and italian threaded.(mentionned just in case somebody has one here!). In the eventual case of more than one "period correct" regina frewwheel models is there one preferable to the other to look for and why would that be?
About correct chains :is Regina extra Oro period correspondng to my bike? Was this a chain the racers were using or was there another model/brand,possibly lighter, chain used? thank you, Ronald Manseau,gaspe,Qc.
