As someone who has owned both Italian and American 3V bikes, I can say that
Bob Hovey's observations of the differences in decals to be spot on the
money. I have recently seen re-done 3V bikes with American decals put on
Italian bikes. Even from the most reputable of restorers.
Bob's in depth research in recent years is fast becoming the gold standard.
His many many hours of time and work are much appreciated by us folks given
to buying and selling Masi bikes.
