Subject: [CR]Pay Pal etc.

Whilst I will never get involved with a system such as Pay Pal for the reason its is not worth my time for the small amount of transactions I deal with.My second reason its another way of someone having my banking details for which I am not prepared to all to see while its a connection to the internet. The other suggestion to use credit cards is not practicable to the non dealer, home buyer or seller without the equipment to action the payment.

The items I have occasionally bought or sold here or in the USA has always been straightforward made possible by an agreement between myself and the buyer to use other alternatives without the use of Pay Pal. Either way personel cheques, cash ,money orders and travellers cheques have always arrived safely and I see no other reason to change that choice now. It would appear to me people using the electronic banking are doing it for their convenience when funds are not ready available at the time of purchase. With respect , if that is their choice so be it , but they should'nt criticise or condem others who wish not to use these methods of payment. The whole subject should be a private and personal arrangement between buyer and seller and there it should be left.
