While we're on the subject of Treks--there is a nice website devoted to

I've been tempted by these puppies from time to time. There is a lot to like about them. Some time ago, I encountered a nice Trek tourer, Mafac cantilever brakes, the whole bit, at a swap meet for an asking price of $80. Probably could have bought it for $60. I'm still wondering why I didn't.
