Subject: [CR]engraved vs. etched campy crankarms (really - not about breakage!)

When I first wrote that the logo on non-fluted crank arms was positioned differently when etched than when engraved, I was going by memory (dangerous practice). When I looked into it further, I realized that I was wrong, and that it is even more complicated. I was thinking about a track arm set I have with an etched logo, and the road set on my McLean with an engraved logo. Then I realized that I had yet another track set on my Telavio. It too is etched, but positioned like the engraved logo on the road crank. Those are positioned lower than on traditional fluted arms, but just slightly. The other track arms have a etched logo positioned mid-way on the arms.

Curiouser and curiouser, eh?
