I'm not sure of the model or year of this frameset. It is a burnt orange color with two white decal panels with "FALCON" in red on the top and down tubes. The seat tube has another white panel decal with a large falcon on it that states, "made in lincolnshire england." There is reynolds decal at the bottom of the seat tube and according to it states that the tubes, stays and forks are all made of 531 plain gauge steel. there are ernie clement decals on the chain stays. It has cable guide braze ons on the BB and a brazed cable stop on the chain stay. No braze ons on the top tube for brake cables. The dropouts have no brand markings and the rear does not have a hanger but they are nice and long. I was going to use this as a fixed gear. It should work with either 700c or 27 inch wheels. It seems this frame was not meant for center pull brakes, there is no bridge and with 700c wheels I put a set of universal 68's and they had more than enough reach. I tried a set of modolo's with the same 700c wheels but they weren't long enough so I suspect this probably originaly had 27inch wheels. when I recieved the frame it came with the original headset but it had been removed. Not wanting to fudge it up I had it installed at the local shop for 30.00. I'm factoring this into the cost of the frame, I probably should have waited and not had it installed but that was before I decided to sell it. I have to stop myself from buying bikes that are just too big for me. Anyway, I can include the receipt for the installation with the frame. 1/3 of the fork is chromed and it's in nice shape. Paint has some scratches, mainly from cable clamps and shifters. Headbadge is perfect. It's really a nice frame and would make one heck of a fixed gear bike. email me for pics. I'm asking 120.00 for the frame fork and headset, plus shipping.
