Over 2-grand for a set of dropouts.... all I can say is that nothing surprises me anymore. The best part is that these aren't even a complete set. There are no adjusters and no springs, and if I'm not mistaken the early 4mm dropuouts screws are not easy to come by. I've NEVER seen a set for sale on Ebay or anywhere else. Even if these are world's rarest dropouts, the assocuated screws may be even more rare. I'm not asserting that this IS the case, just that it MAY BE the case. Also, consider that the demand for the screws is probably a lot greater than demand for the un-brazed dropouts. You gotta figure half the collectors with frames featuring the early dropouts are probably looking to score some of the 4mm screws.
