Flash, Have had a look through the back numbers of the various cycling magazines I have and I can't find the 1948 ones. They are here somewhere. Most lightweight dealers previewed their models at the cycling exhibition especially Hyman Hetchins. Prior To the Earls Court shows they were held at Westminster Agricultural Hall, Olympia and the Agi at Islington. Oh the Trio was first exhibited at the 1938 Earls Court Show stand 53 along with the Van Kempen, Wals,Rodman and O'Brien Hetchins raced at the Wembley six Day of that year. Posted a link to CR sometime ago where you could see some of the original photos from these exhibitions but I can't remember the site. In 1949 some of the London lightweight makers boycotted the show and held their own. Grubb C.Butler and Gillott for definite.

Thats all for now. Keep those wheels spinning, in your memories if not still on the road. Be lucky Mick Butler Huntingdon UK.
