My apologies to the list, but I am having Mozilla mail server problems again so I am responding on list to Troy Warnick:

Troy, I think I have one of these but won't know until tomorrow. If you haven't found one yet, e-mail me tomorrow. I will probably have the Mozilla problem solved by then.

Greetings,

I am in the final stages of getting a 56 Jack Taylor "curved tube" machine together. All that is left from a long list of broken bolts, bottom bracke t woes, and cracked mudguards is a Sturmey-Archer cable stop. This is the clamp that belongs on the top tube just behind the head tube. It consists of a metal clamp (which I have) and a plastic, flat on one side, cable hous ing ferrel (which I need) that fits between the top tube and the metal clam p. So, please empty out those pockets and scatter out the contents of those ol d coffee cans. I'll even take the one off the Raleigh Sports frame hanging in the barn. Any help is greatly appreciated!

PS- I am still searching for a 24" to 25" Jack Taylor "Tourist" with canti' s, just in case you have that lying next to the Sturmey cable stop.

Regards,
