Subject: [CR]?colnago? update, modolo question , plus: I really need a SR clamp on front derailleur

I couldn't help myself last night, I had to work on the possible colnago frame I picked up yesterday. I striped it completely down, polished the frame (thanks for the lemon pledge tip btw) and parts, polished the chrome fork and built it all back together. I used a really clean super record rear derailleur I just picked up, a black modolo brake set. The previous owner is on the verge of parting with the wheelset he had on this bike, which consisted of record hubs laced to red annodized mavic rims, I have to say they look fantastic on this bike. I used some aero wheels with shimano 105 hubs for now. If this isn't a colnago it still seems to be a pretty nice frame. Built up, minus toe clips, straps, and front derailleur it weighs in at around 18 1/2 pounds. there are no tubing decals on the frame but if I find out the seat post size I should be able to narrow it down right?

Now for my modolo question. This frame uses recessed brakes, the only ones I had available were shimano so I decided to try this modolo bolt on brakeset. This brake set has some concave shaped washers that fit perfectly into the recessed mounting holes on the frame. Was this just luck or were these designed for that purpose?

I really need a clamp super record front derailleur for this frame. I would be willing to buy or trade for one. It does not have to be NOS but clean. My local shop has a braze on and i know shimano makes adapters, could I use these together?

I'll be posting more pictures later of the bike, especially because I have a new bar tape recommendation.
