Finally removal of those tough headset cups and seat posts. I find a regular old pipe wrench bites in and give you enough leverage to get them moving just enough to get a chisel in between the frame and cup to finish the job. Yeah, your laughing now but try this on an old Schwinn Varsity and see if I am not right.

These methods only seem to work on this one day of the year ;)

++++++++++++++++ For for a couple of decades I've used a Genufine Columbia headset removing tool. Made from one of the main triangle tubes - they were all one inch. But, this one is Columbia DoubleButted: One end, to which the hammer is applied, actually had a liner pipe of some fine steel pushed in to thicken the butt. The other, relatively thin-walled end is split longitudinally a few times and splayed out. Works great on head sets; it is left as an exercise for the reader to figure out how to use it...
