>From the Pen of J.B. Wadley is a collection of writings from the first English author to cover the Tour de France and many of the great European Classics.

J.B. ("Jock") Wadley (1914-1981) was a respected cycling journalist publishing in "Sporting Cyclist", "International Cycle Sport" (which he co-founded), and ultimately "The Daily Telegraph."

Intriguing stories include an account of Jacques Anquetil's 1965 win in the marathon Bordeaux-Paris on only an hour's sleep after a hard-fought win in the 8-day Dauphine Libere stage race.
