As I was mindlessly trying to stuff my newly bought 27.2 NR seatpost into my late 60's Legnano frame (Yo Bob!), a reflux of molten alloy from Hell (in Miami) struck me. Perhaps the Falck tubing is not the same dimentions as Renolds 531. Ive been riding a Bridgestone since I sold my Hetchins in 92 and hardly remember how to spell Campangolo, let alone think of tube sizes. So I dug out my calipers and measured the id and it looks very much like 27.2mm. Duh. Am I correct in assuming that I need a 26.8mm post?
