Drilling those holes in bosses that have already been brazed onto the frame can be quite tricky. The couple of times I saw this technique employed successfully, the bosses were drilled before they were brazed onto the down tube.

Perhaps you can do this with bosses that are already brazed onto the frame if you use one of those extra long drill bits. Otherwise, I don't have a drill whose chuck is small enough in diameter to do this sort of thing. I wonder who does? Best regards, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia (USA)
