TA Cyclotourist and Stronglight model 49 arms are interchangeable in that both will take the same chainrings. The most common result of this is that a lot of old French touring bikes as well as new Singers and Toeis are equipped Stronglight 49 arms with TA Cyclotourist chainrings. One only rarely sees the opposite combination of TA arms with Stronglight 49 rings. I always thought this was because the TA rings allowed a much wider range of inner rings, but someone stated here a while back that the TA rings were introduced many years before the TA arms, which may be another reason.

I don't think TA ever made arms with the 122mm bolt circle of the Stronglight 93 and many other Stronglight models, but I think there were Stronglight arms compatible with the three-arm TA Professional. Both companies also briefly made Campy NR compatible 144mm arms, the TA Tevano and Stronglight models 106? and 107.

A simple question, are TA and Stronglight arms interchangeable? Planing another project.
