Well said, Dirk. I would like to go on record to say that I have learned from and enjoyed the participation of our German members. FWIW, after his departure I contacted Mick to see what his gripe was and he made references to too much mail and needing to care for his son and, finally and lowest in priority, his having had a squabble with one member who happens to live in Germany. Hardly an indictment of a whole group, which means the implications in his somewhat rude departure were incorrect and misleading. The lesson here (must we keep learning it?) is to NOT send an e-mail when you are hot under the collar, but wait until you cool off and rethink the wording. Works every time (I think.)
