Now to clarify the actual price on the green Pogliaghi. I paid $3000.00, which might be considered "high" but I wanted it and had not seen one in my size come up before. How did it get to $4400? My high bid i felt was way high at $4300, but someone else bid what they thought was a astronomical bid, not knowing that my high bid was also astronomical. Any way he backed out of the deal and had informed the seller that he had been willing to pay $3000.00. I got a "second chance to buy" through e-bay from the seller at $4300. I was able to talk to the seller and ascertained what had been the other guys true high bid and offered to pay that amount and he accepted. I didn't want to say anything until I receive the bike, it arrive on Thursday very professionally packed. Besides a few incorrect parts and the decals on the down tube being almost completely rubbed off the bike is in pretty good shape for a late 60s early 70s era bike. I am happy with the bike and it the price that two people were willing to pay for a Pogliaghi has been adjusted down to a more "reasonable" amount ($3,000.00)
