Dear members:

Did I miss something or is our 52/53 cm green Pog back on the block? Didn't this go for $4,400.00 just last week or so? Funny this bike was sold in the U.S. and now the seller wants British Pounds.

Signed..Just curious.

Well, let's see: a brand-new eBayer (alledgedly) in a different country, zero feedback, no serial number mentioned. If the verbage and/or pics. are the same as last week (I didn't see the previous auction), it's a scam.

The funny thing is, it seems like the scammers only hijack really rare bikes' auctions. Wouldn't that be the least likely way to hook a fish? I mean, worldwide, there is a very small group of folks indeed that would be seriously interested in these bikes, right? They would likely all be familiar with the previous auction, right? If you're going to attempt a scam, why not do it with a nice Paramount or a Raleigh Pro, or a Colnago, or some other much more common bike? Can anyone elucidate me on the thought processes of these criminals?
