Whoa! Nice tall Carlsbad Masi from early 70s on ebay.

Has that pricey 1st gen Super Record rear derailleur too!

It'll be interesting to see where this one finishes.

Nice-looking bike. Why is it, though, that it seems like 75% of the old Masis, Confentes, Wizards, etc. are always huge frame sizes like 62-65 cm (the ones that show up for sale, at least)? It seems to happen way more frequently than for almost any other brand that appears regularly on eBay or elsewhere. I mean, I'm tall, about 95th Percentile American male, but they are almost always too big for me! Did mostly giants buy these bikes when new? Something in the water out there in CA? Brian, do you have any insight into this? Others that were there at the time? Greg "curious" Parker Dexter, Michigan
