Ah, so.... Simplex, I see, is similar marriage of convenienc as Rallye; that is: on-hand short parallelogram mated to long cage plates.

Simplex made a number of long cage derailleurs at different price points. Here's a "BX410" from my tandem (bottom spring broke, so it's been retired). I think this model was low to mid range:
