The Mercian is a 1978 Serial # 79678 2. It has one set of eyelets in front & one set in rear. Paint & decals are excellent.

The Leonard Zinn frameset is a Zinn Isis & is made of Reynolds 653 tubing, not 631 as I said in the original post. The 2 dents are shown in the photos as well as scratches. The surface under the seattube decal is a little uneven (not as smooth as you would expect) - the outside of the rear stays are the same way - rust? (it does not seem like rust & is not flaking off), something happening to the clearcoat? I'm not sure, but it is still a nice frameset.
