I saw a few Libertas on the racing circuit in the 1970's. My recollection is that they were solid bikes. Reasonably good specifications. They had a complete line from gas pipe to 11 tubed Reynolds 531 frames. I only saw frames made of Reynolds 531. They had a nice mixte model.

The graphics were uninspiring. They seemed to either use silver paint or unpolised chrome on the stays and forks where the brits, italians and americans would use polished chrome. The lugs I saw were the less attractive (to me, anyway) nervex and bocama.

Big Wheel in Denver sold them through there catalog. Wares Cyclery in Milwaukee sold them also.
