Hi Peter.

I have some experience with the S22 tubular clincher. I got the red sidewalls, but at least a year or so ago they were available with tan as well. I would guess I put 600 to 800 miles on them. My first flat was in the front. I was surprised, as it is the only front flat I can ever remember getting. I rode the last few miles home, squirted in some of the sealant and that was that. It never leaked again. So that is great, right? My next flat was in back. I must have hit some debris of some sort. Anyway, it was an insta-flat. Once again I tried the sealant and after a fair amount of leaking it seemed to seal up. When I went to add enough pressure to ride, the seal failed and the latex all leaked out. Long story short, the sealant does a great job on small holes and pretty much doesn't work on big ones IN MY EXPERIENCE. So I guess if you are prone to not repairing your tubulars, then Tufos seem very flat resistant and the repair is easy if it works. It it doesn't work they are trash...

P.S. The S22/S23 are very narrow, barely as wide as the narrow red label Araya rims on which I mounted them...
