Hearn's is still there, and now advertises that it's "probably the oldest in the US." I bought my first bike (Schwinn Varsity) there in 1966; CR lister John Wilson may have sold it to me. I bought my newest bike (Orbea Starship) there in 2003. The new owners are racers, and are great guys. Good mechanics, too.
