Hi all,
I am very new to the list and a self-admitted novice about all vintage bikes. I just picked up an old Schwinn with gearshifter levers right up by the handlebars but just behind the handlebars also. The man I bought the bike from wasn't sure how old it is. What years did Schwinn produce a bike like that. The paint is in rough shape so I can't tell what city it was made in. It is a fun ride regardless, IMHO. Please reply either privately or on the board.
