well we've got our hotel reservation and we'll be staying at the microtel. I've been busy making the steeds nice and pretty. I was polishing up the copper rivets on my brooks saddles when I thought to myself, "I hope I'm not the only one doing this." It started with an 80's schwinn super sport I bought this week that had a pro saddle on it to donate to my raleigh pro. The leather was in great shape, not dry at all, no cracks and not oozing any oil or anything else meant to soften it. The only problem was the rivets had turned green so I polished them and then decided to keep going on all my other saddles.

The saddle from the schwinn was stamped 79, how many different versions of the pro were there in the 70's? I've seen the giant mushroom rivets and of course the small regular size rivets, but this one seems to have an inbetween size. Just curious.
