I have a dural set in the box which is 1950 or newer. The box has a list on one side showing Coppis wins for 1949. I'll put some pics up later

Subject: [CR]Bowden brakes

There was a thread two or three years ago started by somebody asking about Bowden brakes; that is the brakes made in France by a company called Bowden.

The thread led nowhere as all the usual suspects replied as though it were a general question about bowden cable and its origins. Does anybody know anything about the Bowden brakes and when they were made? They made both steel and dural sidepulls which seem to be of good quality. A posting by Hilary Stone

about an Andre Leducq bike would seem to suggest the dural ones came out before WW2. Any comments? Stuart Tallack on the samp Sussex Littoral
