Great post Brad!!! For those of us that get a kick out of seeing what the pros actually ride, the reality is that sometimes the bikes are the Team Bikes and sometimes they're not. Various times during Eddy's career he was on the bikes that were the same under the paint and sometimes not. I saw Thurlow Rogers' Raleigh Team Bike he was racing in Europe and it was a Vitus Carbone with a Raleigh Team paint job (bought for by himself). And Andy Hampsten was on an American Flyer ti frame with 7-Eleven paint that he paid for himself. And Lance on a Litespeed painted as an Motorola Merckx for the Worlds. But plenty of the time these same riders were on the team issued bike too. Go figure!
