Sorry that the food disappointed, Tom. I enjoyed the dinner table company and the conversation in any case.

So come back next month and do the 3 Mountain Metric century ride, which includes climbs of Pilot Mountain, Hanging Rock and Sauratown Mountain.

Never done it myself, but I've had in mind for a few years and might almost be in shape this year. Almost...

According to "The Rocket Man," whomever he is, two of the three climbs are tougher than Lance Armstrong's famous Beech Mountain ascent!
