Charles,

I hope you get a fair price for your Raleigh. Be patient, the "wrong" buyer doesn't want it that bad!

If you have, or get around to, taking photos of that bike, I would like to see them. I bought one last Saturday and am restoring it's componentry. Photos of a clean original bike would be useful to me, since mine came with a very mixed parts group and some stitched-on bar covering. It's coming along nicely, I put a NR headset on it yesterday, and today will replace the Zeus cranks with NR.

If you know of any online photo galleries that would also be useful. I'm wondering about the rear brake cable routing, since the front-most housing clamp interrupts the word "Professional" and the housing obscures the "Made In England" transfer. Do you know of a source for the original housing? Gray?

Many thanks,

Very low miles Early 70's Raleigh Professional ( all Campy Record) - $1000 (berkeley)

True collector bike!!!! 60cm center to center

Not that many out there.

I have a 70's Raleigh Professional. So pristine. Maybe riddin 60 miles in its whole life. It was sitting in storage for over 20 years and I had to replace the tires because they were starting to rot. There is no rust on the bike and the bike has been cleaned up to look new.

Campy Record - original throughout the whole bike Brooks racing saddle - original

Thought to be an olympic bike but was never riddin.

I know what the bike is worth but I have recieved a lot of low ballers. No pressure to sell it.

$1000

I can send pics upon request

Bike is in Berkeley
