Mike, I hope that you continue to enjoy your trike. I've had mine for 30 years now and still enjoy riding it though I don't ride it as much as I did in the beginning. Why have a trike? I don't know except that they are very nice on icy or snow packed streets. Great conversation starters and sometimes, if you are single, that conversation is with a single female cyclist. Why ride old bikes at all; a new bike is "so much better". How wide is the rear track of your two rear wheels? Mine is wider than some that I've seen and that could make a difference in stability.
