P. C. Kohler wrote- One web site mentions how Eddy said his Peugeot "handled and rode like a dog".

If true, that indicates that he did ride a Peugeot for a time and did not like it. So, possible solutions could be- go back to riding what one liked as an amateur. Accept a proposal to ride what may be offered by a builder, "let me build one for you, we can paint it just like a PX-10".

The style of a PX-10, would not be hard to create, Masi even used Nervex Professional lugs at one time. So could any number of builders. An example or two from those years would be interesting, but proving its history could be problematic.

Which World Hour Record bike do you accept as the real deal? This was a bike that was famous straight away, a typical used up team bike was just another used bike.
