Confrontational? I thought the CR List was about discussing vintage lightweights. And no, no, no... you are not going to tell me a subject's "been covered". If that's true about everything about our interest, why doesn't Dale shut down the CR List and convert it into archives only? And a lot of what's on the List is the classic "I read" or "I heard" when what I was suggesting by "convince me" is the documented evidence as Russ Fitzgerald provided about Tom Simpson.

So once again an ongoing discussion about bikes is degenerated into arguing about what we're arguing about. Drives me nuts. Or, more to the point, drives to me get on my PX-10 tomorrow and ride the damn thing. At least I know who built mine.
