Recently however, I posted some items for sale. I was eager to see the posting so I kept checking my email. However, before the email containing m y posting was in my inbox, I already had three listers email me that they wanted the item! Since FS items are often sold on a first-come, first-served basis, this system is only fair if everyone on the list is made aware of the posting at the same time, which is not to say that it isn't, but I wanted to bring my suspicions to the List's attention to see if others have had similar experiences.

Jack (too late) Romans I offered a bunch of items to the list a couple of years ago, and on a fe w I had piles of offers literally within minutes of hitting the Send button.

I, in retrospect, attribute this to not doing my homework and setting too

low a price on those items. No big deal, but the people here are sharp, *wa y * sharper collectively than I.
