I always fill tires to about 2 atmospheres and let them sit for a few days before deflating and then stretching dry onto spare rims (before gluing) .... once they're on rims they get 2 atmospheres for a night or three....then full pressure for a week before I decide if I want to glue them onto a wheel ... over the years this has really helped minimize the effects of my ham-fistedness and they seem to glue on much true-er (straight AND round) ... also gives ample time to inspect them to make sure I want to use them.

Has anyone had experience with recent Dugast sewups? I was unable to stretch a pair of new 27mm tires onto a rim. I took them to a mechanic old enough to have raced on brass Gran Sports, and he had them for a week and couldn't get them on either. Thanks.
