Hi Donald,

What design changes were implemented in 1961 on the Mafac Racers that allow you to date your to before? Looking through Le Cycliste and Le Cycle, I did not find anything during those years, but that does not mean nothing happened. -- Jan Heine, Seattle Editor/Publisher Vintage Bicycle Quarterly c/o Il Vecchio Bicycles 140 Lakeside Ave, Ste. Thanks to all of you who responded. So, they are Mafac Racers, manufactured before 1961, with metal bushings. It will be interesting using them again after years of riding with side-pulls, cantis, and V-brakes. I'll pass on my impressions.
