Subject: [CR]somewhat off topic German built Indian request

Hello all-

Excuse my somewhat off topic intrusion, I know this is not a drop bar bicycle or path racer from the day, but I have a 1936/37 Indian bicycle that has roots in Germany that I am trying to identify who made it. In the mid 30's the American motorcycle manufacturer Indian contracted with a German outfit to build this bike (well, most of it). It seems to me that someone told me Miele may have been the manufacturer, but that is unconfirmed at this point. The crank is an unusual 3 piece design, with I think a trademark chainring from the manufacturer. Here is a picture-

Can any of our European friends help me identifying the maker? I need a few parts, and thought I would start here. Any literature or help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help in advance,
