I had a chance to take a close look at this "Sophia Loren" yesterday, and it feels as good as it looks. This one isn't for everyone - it's a circa-'79 (the seller thinks) road frame that has been modified. The rear der hanger has been ground off, and the DT shift lever bosses brazed-off. The re-paint is in excellent shape, only a couple of minor nicks and scratches. Some questionable decals which are not under a clear coat, can probably be removed without damage. Great chrome.
The bike is not tired or sad - it shouted RIDE ME - it's tight and vibrant. I almost jumped at it. But I have my hands full with a bunch of restoration projects right now, and already have several sweet rides competing for my attention.
