Look mate, you can spend all your life regretting the things you didn't do and spending q measly $137 or so to secure a lovely french mixte is not a lot of consideration. Consider yourself well off, not only do I live on t'otherside of the world in Australia where shipping costs a truly horrendous but at six foot two and two hundred and forty pounds most of what I see is simply far too small. Break open the piggybank, sell the wife's car and do what you have to do. It cost me $200 to ship a frame out to Australia. I don't know what a complete bike would cost but I think I'd find it more economic to travel myself and bring it back as luggage. At least that way I'd get to have a holiday in France, see the Tour etc etc.
