Holy Grail of bicycles:

That De Rosa that went on ebay, in my size.. although, given the chance, I wouldn't pay that much for one, although I would pay a lot. Lucky for me, that one was too big for me.

(I wonder if the buyer will ride it..)

A 1930s Gloria in good original condition, with all the correct parts, not too much corrosion, all the graphics still intact, and potentially rideable. and my size, although that would be less important. Now *that's* a holy grail bike if ever there was one.

Charles Andrews SoCal

(ps: to whoever knows, what *was* the final price on that overpriced Pogliaghi that went on ebay? I never did hear that the price came down. I try to keep track of the prices paid for Pogliaghis of various vintages, so if someone who knows could let me know what the final price was, I'd appreciate it.)
